The Botanical Garden, with its largest collection of living plants in the country, is a part of the Natural History Museum at the University of Copenhagen.
In addition to the Herbarium with its impressive collection of preserved plants, a spirit collection, wood collection, economic botany collection and a seed bank await visitors. But the Botanical Garden is not only interesting for those passionate about botany and gardening. It also offers a variety of exhibitions and activities for all ages, the Butterfly house and the Palm House being two favorites. Aside from that it is a relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.
