COLONEL design studio was created in 2012 by Isabelle Gilles & Yann Poncelet around a cocktail vodka and lime ice cream called the Colonel. Isabelle is a graduate of the Fine Arts School of Reims and Yann is self-taught.
Primarily specialized in the creation of furniture, lighting and objects, COLONEL studio uses recurring codes in its various collections that are the signature of the brand: light wood, bright colors, patterns, craft techniques. This mix evokes travel and holidays throughout the year. Since its founding, COLONEL has created five collections encompassing lighting, armchairs and coffee tables. The design studio works in close collaboration with architects and private clients on custom-made projects and also works on interior designs.
