Studio Arhoj is a small independent design and production studio run by founder and owner Anders Arhoj, in the center of Copenhagen. During his studies in Tokyo, Japan, Anders began his work in interiors and design. Upon returning to Denkmark he opened a small studio from his apartment in Vesterbro doing graphic work, identity, branding and kids illustrations before eventually moving on to the world of ceramics.

In 2013, Anders officially started Studio Arhoj in an old envelope factory in Islands Brygge, a dockland area just outside of Copenhagen. Today Studio Arhoj is known for its high quality hand thrown and hand cast ceramic products, which have come to be known and loved all over the world. While still working in interior design, branding and illustration, the studio has since functioned almost exclusively as a ceramics and product manufacturing studio. Studio Arhoj, with its motivated team of twelve, full-time studio dog Hanx and occasional helping hands from family members, takes pride in being a small family owned business. The studio designs merge elements of Scandinavian simplicity with traditional Japanese culture, focusing on keeping knowledge about old crafts and traditions like wheel throwing and glaze construction alive. Studio Arhoj's hand crafted products pass in and out of their 12 kilns daily. In their in-studio store, visitors can witness the entire process from a simple lump of clay to the removal from final firing.

Studio Arhoj is constantly developing new ideas with releases of new products, limited edition pieces, and new glaze combinations and colors throughout the year. Their ceramic products are truly unique. They are the kind of timeless objects that put a smile on your face and bring joy for years to come.
