Iris Hantverk has a long, proud history of working with the visually impaired. Its core business is brush binding according to an old Swedish tradition. As time has gone by, one thing has not changed. Back in its early years as today, each brush is carefully handmade by a visually impaired craftsman.

When in 2012, the government decided to stop funding the work with visually impaired craftsmen, the owner decided to sell Iris Hantverk. Since August 2012, it is being run by Richard Sparrenhök and Sara Edhäll. It has successfully contributed its part to reviving the traditional brush binding profession by making beautifully designed, functional products combined with the quality of natural materials and craftsmen's solid technique.
