The outskirts of Kopenhagen offer many cultural highlights, leisure activities and beautiful landscape.
When the Copenhageners long to go to the beach they head to Amanger Beach a beautiful sandy beach with a Laguna, kayaking and 1000 meter track for swimming.
In Humlebæk about 30 minutes North of Kopenhagen you can find the renowned Loiusiana Museum for modern and contemporary art, amidst the most beautiful landscape with a view of the ocean.
Although Kopenhagen itself has more than enough to see and do, exploring the outskirts is more than worth it.
