What used to be the royal hunting grounds, is now Stockholm's green oasis. The island of Djurgården is the only national park to be located in the middle of a city. Its beautiful meadows, forests, canals and wildlife easily let one forget the hustle and bustle of the surrounding city. The amusement park Gröna Lund and several museums (such as the Vasa Museum) are also located on the island.
