Viktualienmarket Munich
Two hundred years ago, the Viktualien market was predominantly a farmer's market. Today tourists, locals and foodies love it all the same. Aside from fruits & vegetables, meat, fish, cheese, spices, wine and exotic herbs, antipasti, fresh squeezed juices, flowers and all kinds of specialties (the list goes on and on) are offered. Right in the center of the market, tucked under old chestnut trees, you will find a cozy beergarden. If you have some time to spare, sit down and relax for a while. Enjoy some delicious german specialties and a cold beer and watch the hustle and bustle around you.
