Geranium voted world's best restaurant
For 20 years now 1000 experts vote for the 50 best restaurants of the world. This year, we were very happy to find out that Geranium from Copenhagen tops the list.

Geranium is located in lofty heights, on the 8th floor in Fælledparken (Common Gardens) above the tree tops and with perfect view of the city's green copper roofs. In the distance one can see the windmills of the Oeresund. From up there one sees the world with a different perspective. It quickly becomes evident how interconnected everything is, how the urbane and nature coexist in conflict.

Geranium describes its kitchen as lucid, light and dynamic. Their mission is to create a dining experience that involves all of our senses. Central to this is understanding the connection between the formative forces of nature and the physical matters of organisms. Thoughfulness and respect of nature and ingredients are essential to achieving excellent quality.

The simple yet elegant interior and the wonderful staff create a warm, comfortable atmosphere. The presentation of the food is stunning, even the tiniest details created with thoughtful artistry. For a short moment one feels hesitant to go about "destroying" such perfection. The unparalleled delicacy of flavors and textures makes for a truly unique dining experience, which has earned Geranium three Guide Michelin stars.

You feel on top of the world, with world class dining. Geranium and Rasmus Kofoed are truly in a league of their own.
