A wonderful fusion of french and scandinavian cuisine
In 1755 Jean Marchal and Maria Coppy set off not only on a great romantic adventure but also established a restaurant with the culinary love they shared, thereby laying the foundation for the Hotel D'Angleterre.
Centuries later the passion for food is still evident at Marchal and has even earned it a Michelin Star. The successful blend of French and Scandinavian cuisine appeals to all senses, the selection of wine and champagne is excellent. Marchal embodies modern elegance with a warm atmosphere. In the summer months Marchal expands onto the terrace and sidewalk of Kongens Nytorv, offering guests a wonderful "alfresco" dining experience amidst the hustle and bustle of the city.
