Mathilde Feuillet and Melissa Knorr met during their studies. It turned out that they not only shared their passion for fashion but complemented eachother perfectly. Sharing a common vision, they decided to take a chance on starting their own business in 2011. They took the first letters of each of their names, added a "Y" for simplicity and thus their label ME&MAY was born.

Today, almost eight years later their business has successfully grown and they have made a reputable name for themselves in the area of "fair fashion". Over time the demand for their clothes could no longer be handled by the two of them alone but rather has required increased assistance. Their position concerning sustainability however has not changed one bit.

Fair production and short transportation routes are integral parts of the ME&MAY philosophy. All fabrics are sourced solely in Europe and produced by a small company in Poland. Many of their items are not only cuddly soft and beautifully crafted, but also made of 100% recycled fibers. Their Fall/Winter 2019 collection will be their first 100% Eco-Fashion collection.
