Eataly- a little bit of Italy in the heart of Munich
At the end of 2015, the freshly renovated "Schrannenhalle" opened ist doors. Eataly, one of the main attractions located inside, has brought Italy even closer to Munich.

You will find everything your heart desires from "bella italia" all under one roof: San Daniele or Culatello ham, Pecorino, Parmigiano and various kinds of mozzarella from all over Italy. The mozzarella is produced by the Latteria Sorrentina, a dairy producer in fifth generation. The butcher offers PIemont Beef from LaGranda and Presidio Slow Food, both of which are known for their animal friendly operations and sustainability. Ofcourse there are also many excellent olive oils and wines waiting to be discovered. The Panetteria, Focacceria and various homemade pasta, sauces and sweets complete the product range.

All in all you feel a bit like in an italian market hall. And although you may not have intended to buy anything, you will most likely leave the Schrannenhalle with a few italian delicacies.
